Lanetta Hinton is Detroit People Mover’s One-Millionth Rider, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to cover this historic event. The Detroit People Mover opened in 1987. Today, December 4th, 2024, the one-millionth rider walked through the Grand Circus Park Station turnstiles. Congratulations Lanetta!
